Stay in an English Country Farmhouse providing accommodation for 14
Self-catering accommodation in a 250 year old farmhouse
The farmhouse is a sunny, bright, south east facing house dating from around 1750. The main rooms are large with polished wooden floors and are furnished in a comfortable traditional yet uncluttered style, with modern facilities combined with superb period features.
Views from the farm are truly spectacular due to its elevated position near the border between England and Wales and the landscape may be enjoyed from the terrace with its large table and seating for the entire party.
The farmhouse is located on a quiet country lane with no near neighbours. Guests can walk around the ten acres of the farm, the grounds incorporating an orchard, several paddocks, new woodland and a stream and they may decide to have a barbecue near the lake.
There is ample parking for at least eight cars in the private courtyard. The farmhouse is a short walk, just under half a mile, from a village which has a shop / post office, two good country pubs (both do food), a butchers shop and a fish and chip shop.
Holidays at home are great - the farm has its own herd of award-winning llamas and llama treks may be arranged for a truly memorable stay. For more details on the llamas see the Golden Valley Llamas website www.goldenvalleyllamas.co.uk.
